ABOUT EMINASIN
The first top-quality alcohol-free wine has arrived in Spain by the hand of Emina. EMINASIN is a pioneering product in Spain produced in the Duero Distillery, the Matarromera Group’s facilities in San Bernardo (Valladolid), thanks to intense research work started over three years ago. Many organisms and institutions have collaborated with EminaSIN’s enological team in a project that now reaches the market under three different references: EMINASIN RED, EMINASIN WHITE and EMINASIN ROSÉ.

What is EminaSIN?

EMINASIN is a completely new product on the national and international markets. Three years of work and in-depth research carried out by Emina´s enological team – in collaboration with agencies such as the Institute of Agricultural Techniques of Castilla y León (ITACYL), or the Enological Station of Castilla y León, among others – have resulted in the first low-alcohol wine in Spain, presented to the market in three different varieties: red, white and rosé.

An alcohol-free wine?

EMINASIN is a product made of wine from the finest grapes of the Duero area. After a deconstruction process, its alcohol content is reduced to just 0.5%.

How is it made?

EMINASIN is a product resulting from three years of work and research. Through a purely physical procedure, the wine undergoes a process of deconstruction of its elements: that is, it is separated, obtaining on one hand the alcohol and on the other the aromas and finally the rest of the components. After this procedure it is reconstructed, but eliminating the alcohol almost completely.

EMINASIN is made by means of a well-known system called Spiining Cone Column (SCC). The dealcoholisation is carried out through low-temperature vacuum distillation of a wine fermented previously in stainless steel tanks with constantly-controlled temperature. Thanks to this deconstruction process, the risk of the wine losing its aromatic components is reduced to a minimum.

What varieties is EminaSIN made up of?

EMINASIN presented in three different references:
1. EminaSIN White: Made with the best Verdejo grapes from the Rueda area
2. EminaSIN Red: Made with the excellent Tempranillo grapes from the Duero area.
3. EminaSIN Rosé: Made with grapes from the Cigales area.

Where is it made?

EMINASIN is produced in the Duero Distillery, Emina’s facilities in San Bernardo, Valbuena de Duero (Valladolid).

What does EMINASIN taste like?

The deconstruction process that EMINASIN has undergone gives it very similar organoleptic qualities to wines with the normal alcohol rate. EMINASIN is very pleasant to the palate, fresh and fruity.

Who is EMINASIN intended for?

EMINASIN is a pioneering product in Spain, intended for ALL segments of the population: from the young public, to the not so young, and including all those people who until now could not enjoy the benefits of a delicious product like wine. Its very low alcohol content (0.5%) makes it a drink suitable for all kinds of consumers. In addition, this product is highly recommended for ensuring safe driving.

Does it have more or fewer calories than a regular wine?

Due to its very low alcoholic content, EminaSin contains very few calories, as it is precisely alcohol that gives normal wine its caloric content.

Recent studies have shown that EMASIN CONTAINS UP TO 20 TIMES FEWER CALORIES than wines with the normal alcohol rate:

EMINASIN                                             4.2 Kcal/100 ml.
Other non-alcohol wines                    22 Kcal/100 ml
Wine 12.5%                                          85 Kcal/100 ml
Natural must                                          220 Kcal/100 ml

EMASIN is therefore an extremely healthy product.

What is its “best before” period?

As EminaSin is such a natural product almost totally lacking in alcoholic content, it is advisable to consume it within the first nine months after its bottling date.

Once opened, how long does it last?

Once opened, in order not to lose its excellent qualities, it is advisable to keep EMINASIN in the refrigerator and consume it within 24 hours after opening it.

Where can I buy it?

EMINASIN is now available in most of the large hypermarket chains in Spain. In addition, EMINASIN can be purchased in the different wineries belonging to Group Matarromera, distributed across four different Designations of Origin (see www.grupomatarromera.com), throughout its HORECA national distribution network, and also on the website www.paladarsinalcohol.com and www.tiendaemina.com
